Parking spaces can be booked in advance via Flexopus using your vehicle registration number. Through the APCOA integration, the license plates are recognized by a camera and the barriers for entry and exit are opened.

How does the APCOA integration work?
Employees can pre-book parking spaces using their vehicle license plates via the Flexopus application. License plates are registered via APCOA to ensure smooth entry and exit.

Using the Flexopus application, a parking space with license plates can be booked in advance for a whole day.
Register vehicle
The booking data is transmitted from Flexopus to APCOA , and the stored license plate number is registered for the day.

When entering, the license plate is recognized by the APCOA camera and the vehicle can enter.

How does the APCOA camera work?
An APCOA camera must be installed at each entrance and exit, which then recognizes the license plates and compares them with the registered vehicles in the system. The camera can optionally be linked to a barrier (SkiData, ScheidtBachmann, Hörmann, DeSigna and many others) to control entry and exit. A stable internet and power connection are prerequisites for installation.

How does license plate recognition work with the installed cameras?
The bookings are synchronized from Flexopus to APCOA. The license plates are thus registered in the APCOAFlow system. For example: FN OF 496. The installed camera recognizes the license plates of vehicles entering or leaving. The recognized license plates are compared with the pre-registered license plates. If the vehicle has a valid booking for the day, the parking area can be used from 00:00 to 23:59.
Which barriers can be integrated with APCOA?
In principle, no barriers are necessary for APCOA integration. The barriers are only an optional extension so that access to parking areas can be physically restricted. The camera system controls the barrier via an I/O interface, just as the barrier is opened. Most barriers have a suitable interface for the connection, but an already installed barrier can also be used. The following barrier manufacturers have already been integrated and tested with APCOA: ScheidtBachmann, SkiData, DeSigna, Hörmann. Other barriers can usually also be linked. Please contact us so that compatibility can be checked.
