Flexopus connects to Sesame HR and automatically synchronizes absence data to your workplace management platform. This way, all employees always have an up-to-date overview of office attendance – without any manual effort.
What is Sesame HR synchronization?
The Sesame HR integration reads absence data directly from Sesame HR and automatically transfers it to Flexopus. The connection is established via a standardized interface that connects Flexopus to your HR system.
The following data will be synchronized:
- Employee ID and Approval ID
- Start and end date of absence
- Absence status (e.g. approved)
- Type of absence (e.g. Vacation, illness) – or, if desired, simply “absent”
- Optional absence note
This is a read-only synchronization: absence data is imported from Sesame HR and cannot be changed via Flexopus.
What is the purpose of integration?
Once absences are recorded and approved in Sesame HR, they are automatically available in Flexopus. This creates transparency within the team and makes it easier to plan days spent in the office.

What absence data is transferred exactly?
Flexopus synchronizes approved absence entries from Sesame HR, including start and end date, status, type of absence, and an optional note. If desired, the type of absence can be reduced to the general status "absent" if no detailed information is to be shared.
What happens when an absence is changed or deleted in Sesame HR?
Flexopus synchronizes the data regularly. Changes or deletions in Sesame HR are automatically applied during the next synchronization. Manual adjustment in Flexopus is not necessary.
Can I manage absences in Sesame HR via Flexopus?
No. The integration is purely a read-only synchronization. Absences can only be recorded and changed in Sesame HR. Flexopus reads the data and makes it available for resource planning.
Is HRIS integration included in the Flexopus subscription?

What permissions are required in Sesame HR?
To set this up, you need administrator rights in Sesame HR to grant Flexopus access to the absence data. Once enabled, synchronization runs automatically.
