Which Android TV devices are compatible?
Basically, the Flexopus Device Connect app is compatible with all devices that have a current Android TV operating system and access to the Google Play Store. This includes both smart TVs with Android TV and streaming devices such as the Google Chromecast with Google TV.
What content is displayed on the screen?
The display shows the information that is configured in the Flexopus admin area for the respective device. Typically, this includes current occupancy levels, available workspaces, or room information. The display can be flexibly adapted to the respective location.
What happens when the device is restarted?
The Flexopus Device Connect app is configured to start automatically when the device is switched on. The display is therefore immediately ready for use again without any manual intervention. The connection to Flexopus remains permanently active as long as the device has an internet connection.
Is personal data displayed on the screen?
The displayed content is defined in the admin area. Information screens typically do not display personal data, but rather aggregated occupancy information such as free or occupied seats. Which information is visible is entirely up to the administrator.
