Custom Domain: Use Flexopus under your own domain
By default, Flexopus is accessible via a subdomain such as yourcompany.flexopus.com or yourcompany.flexopus.eu. With the custom domain option, you can instead run Flexopus under your own company domain – for example, book.mycompany.com or office.mycompany.com.
What is custom domain integration?
With the custom domain option, your Flexopus application will no longer be provided under a flexopus.com subdomain, but under a domain of your own choosing. Technically, this involves setting a CNAME entry in your DNS settings, which forwards the traffic of your desired domain to the Flexopus infrastructure. The Flexopus team will handle all further configuration.
What is the purpose of integration?
Having your own domain ensures that Flexopus fits seamlessly into your existing IT landscape and your corporate communications. Typical application scenarios:
- Employees access Flexopus via a familiar company address, without needing to know an external domain.
- The booking platform integrates visually and technically into existing intranets or employee portals.
- Companies with strict IT policies can run Flexopus under a domain-compliant address.
How easy is the setup?
Setting up a custom domain requires two simple steps: First, contact Flexopus support and tell them your desired domain. Next, create a CNAME record in your DNS settings that points to custom-domain.flexopus.com. The Flexopus DevOps team will take care of everything else – the server-side configuration and deployment.

What are the advantages of integration?
- Professional appearance: Flexopus appears under your own company domain.
- Easy to use: Employees don't need to remember an external domain.
- Minimal effort: The DNS entry is set quickly – Flexopus takes care of the rest.
- Redirection possible: Upon request, Flexopus will set up a redirect from the old subdomain to ensure a smooth transition for users.
- IT-compliant: The solution is suitable for companies with strict requirements for the use of company-owned domains.

questions and answers
Is the custom domain included in the standard package?
No. A custom domain is an additional hosting service that goes beyond the standard package. Since the setup and ongoing operation require additional effort from the Flexopus DevOps team, this service is offered separately. For further information regarding costs and conditions, please contact support@flexopus.com.
What will happen to my existing Flexopus subdomain?
Once your new custom domain is activated, the previous address (e.g. yourcompany.flexopus.com) is no longer accessible. If you have already been working with the old subdomain, Flexopus can set up a redirect upon request so that users are automatically directed to the new address.
Do all Flexopus features also work with a custom domain?
The vast majority of functions are fully available. One known limitation concerns deep links in mobile push notifications (e.g., (for check-in): These do not currently work when using a custom domain. All other functions of Flexopus are unaffected.
How long does the setup take?
After you have set the CNAME record and contacted Flexopus, the team will arrange a migration date with you. Flexopus will notify you as soon as the server-side configuration is complete. You can determine the exact schedule together with support.
