What is Google Calendar resource synchronization?

This integration connects your Google Workspace resources (such as meeting rooms) directly to Flexopus. Booking data is synchronized between the two systems in real time via the Google Calendar API. Google remains the leading system (Single Source of Truth), while Flexopus handles visual management and additional functions.

What is the purpose of integration?

The goal is a seamless workflow without duplicate bookings or manual data reconciliation:

Bidirectional synchronization: Appointments created in Google Calendar appear immediately in the Flexopus Live plan – and vice versa.
Central overview: Users can see room availability across all platforms.
Extended functions: Use Flexopus features such as digital door signage via the Flexopus Display app or detailed analytics on actual room usage.
Targeted room search & Equipment: Admins can specify equipment features (e.g. Specify the number of seats, projector, and whiteboard. Users can thus immediately find the room that exactly meets their requirements via the interactive search in the office plan.

How easy is the integration?

The setup is done centrally via the Google Cloud Console and the Flexopus Dashboard. Once authorized, only the resource emails for the Google Spaces need to be entered into Flexopus.
