What is the ELO Meeting Room Display Integration?
ELO Meeting Room Displays are touch displays that are mounted directly on meeting rooms and show the current booking status of the room. In combination with the Flexopus Display App, the displays are connected to your room management system.
The displays show in real time whether a room is available, about to be occupied, or is currently booked. The colored LED status indicator makes the occupancy status immediately recognizable even from a distance: Green stands for free, orange for a booking that will begin soon, and red for an actively used room.
The connection between the ELO display and Flexopus is established via the Flexopus Display App, which is installed on the device and linked to the respective room via PIN. Booking data is obtained directly from the Flexopus system and can optionally be synchronized with Microsoft Exchange Online or Google Calendar.
What is the purpose of integration?
The integration connects your digital space management with the physical world in the office. Employees no longer need to check an app to see if a room is free – the display at the entrance shows it to them directly.
Typical use cases include:

How easy is the integration?
The setup is straightforward and requires no in-depth IT knowledge. The Flexopus Display App is installed on the ELO device. An administrator then generates a six-digit PIN in the Flexopus Admin dashboard and uses it to connect the display to the desired room.

What data is displayed on the screen?
The display shows the name of the booking creator, the daily schedule with all reservations, and the current occupancy status. Meeting titles and participant lists are deliberately not displayed for data protection reasons. This ensures that personal and confidential information remains protected.
What happens if a booking is not used?
Flexopus offers an optional check-in function. If no one checks in at the display within a defined period, the booking is automatically cancelled and the room is made available again. This significantly reduces vacancies and improves space utilization.
Does the integration also work with Microsoft Exchange or Google Calendar?
Yes. The Flexopus Display App can optionally be synchronized with Microsoft Exchange Online and Google Calendar. Bookings made through these systems appear automatically on the display. This ensures that all booking channels remain consistent and up-to-date.
Can bookings be changed or deleted directly on the display?
Yes. Ad-hoc bookings can be created and deleted directly on the display – without logging in and without an additional app. This makes spontaneous adjustments in everyday office life particularly easy.
What hardware is needed?
Flexopus develops exclusively software. The ELO displays must be provided by the customer. Devices with a direct power connection (no built-in battery) and Power-over-Ethernet support are recommended for stable operation.
