AlexisHR with Flexopus: Automatically synchronize absences
The AlexisHR integration connects Flexopus to the AlexisHR system via a secure interface. Absence data—such as approved leave or sick days—is automatically retrieved from AlexisHR and transferred to Flexopus.
What is the AlexisHR synchronization?
The synchronization is read-only: Flexopus receives data from AlexisHR and makes it available internally. Changes to absences are still made exclusively in AlexisHR. Flexopus regularly imports the data to keep employee statuses up to date.
Absences are mapped using the employees' email addresses, so no manual linking is required.
What is the purpose of the integration?
With the AlexisHR integration, absence information flows directly into Flexopus resource planning. This creates team transparency and simplifies booking desks, meeting rooms, and parking spaces.

- Employees can see directly on their Flexopus dashboard if they are marked as absent.
- Teams can see at a glance who is in the office, working remotely, or away—making it easier to plan days in the office together.
- HR data no longer needs to be entered manually into Flexopus; the synchronization runs automatically in the background.
How easy is the integration?
Setting up the AlexisHR integration is straightforward and requires no technical expertise. As an administrator, navigate to the Integrations section in Flexopus, select AlexisHR, and grant the necessary access permissions in AlexisHR. The synchronization will then start automatically.

Questions and answers
What data is transferred from AlexisHR?
Flexopus imports absence entries, including start and end dates, status (e.g., approved), absence type, and an optional note. Upon request, the transfer can be configured to sync only the absence status without disclosing the specific reason.
What happens if an absence is changed or deleted in AlexisHR?
Changes in AlexisHR are automatically applied in Flexopus during the next synchronization. If an entry is deleted or withdrawn in AlexisHR, the status in Flexopus updates accordingly. Manual adjustments in Flexopus are not necessary.
Can Flexopus automatically cancel bookings if someone is absent?
This feature is currently in development. In the future, Flexopus will be able to automatically cancel existing reservations for absent employees so that resources remain available for others.
What permissions are required in AlexisHR?
Flexopus requires read access to absence data in AlexisHR. This permission is granted once by an administrator in AlexisHR. Write access is not required; Flexopus does not modify any data in AlexisHR.
Is the HRIS module included in the standard subscription?
The HRIS integration module is an optional add-on and must be booked separately. It is generally available to all Flexopus customers upon request. Please contact the Flexopus team if you are interested.
