HoorayHR with Flexopus: Seamlessly synchronize absences
The HoorayHR integration connects Flexopus with the HoorayHR HR system and automatically synchronizes absence data between the two platforms. Absences recorded in HoorayHR – such as vacation or illness – are transferred directly to Flexopus and made available there for all relevant functions.
What is HoorayHR synchronization?
Synchronization takes place via a unified API interface and transfers the following data: employee ID, approval ID, start and end date of absence, status, absence type, and optional notes. This is a read-only synchronization: absence data can only be changed via HoorayHR.
What is the purpose of integration?
With the HoorayHR integration, manual maintenance of absence information in Flexopus is no longer necessary. Once an absence is approved in HoorayHR, it is automatically visible in Flexopus – without any additional effort for HR teams or employees.

Are sensitive reasons for absence, such as illness, transmitted to Flexopus?
Not necessarily. The integration can be configured so that Flexopus only receives the general status "absent" without specifying the exact absence type (e.g., to know about illness, vacation or parental leave). This way, companies retain full control over what information is shared.
What happens when an absence is changed or deleted in HoorayHR?
Since this is a read-only synchronization, changes from HoorayHR are automatically transferred to Flexopus. If an absence is cancelled or adjusted in HoorayHR, the status in Flexopus is updated accordingly.
What permissions are required for the setup?
You will need administrator rights in both Flexopus and HoorayHR to set this up. In HoorayHR, the necessary API permissions must be granted so that Flexopus can read the absence data.
Does the integration also work if employees use different email addresses in HoorayHR and Flexopus?
Absence data is assigned via the employee's email address. For synchronization to work correctly, the email addresses in both systems should match.
Is HoorayHR integration included in the standard Flexopus package?
