What is the Humaans synchronization?

The Humaans integration connects Flexopus with your HR system Humaans and automatically synchronizes absence data to your workplace management platform. Specifically, absence entries – such as vacation, illness or other absences – are read from Humaans and stored in Flexopus.

Synchronization takes place via a unified API interface, transferring relevant data such as the period, status, and type of absence. The transfer is read-only: data can only be changed in Humaans and is then passed on to Flexopus.

What is the purpose of integration?

With the Humaans integration, all participants know at all times who is present in the office, who is working remotely, and who is absent. This facilitates daily collaboration and makes resource planning significantly easier.

Typical use cases:

• Make absence status visible: Once an absence is approved in Humaans, it will automatically be displayed in Flexopus. Employees can see their own status directly on the home screen.
• Colleague availability at a glance: The Flexopus dashboard shows which colleagues are on-site, remote, or absent – without manual maintenance.
• Better room utilization: When employees are absent, existing bookings can be automatically released so that other colleagues can use the space.

How easy is the integration?

Setting up the Humaans integration is straightforward and can be done in just a few steps. As an administrator, navigate to the integration settings in Flexopus, select Humaans and grant the necessary API permissions in your Humaans account. Flexopus then automatically synchronizes absence data based on your employees' email addresses.
