Humaans with Flexopus: Automatically synchronize absences
This integration allows absence data from Humaans to be synchronized with Flexopus.
What is Humaans synchronization?
The Humaans integration connects Flexopus with your Humaans HR system, automatically syncing absence data to your workplace management platform. Specifically, absence entries—such as vacation, illness, or other leave—are pulled from Humaans and stored in Flexopus.
Synchronization occurs via a unified API, transferring relevant data such as the timeframe, status, and type of absence. The transfer is read-only: data can only be modified in Humaans and is then passed on to Flexopus.
What is the purpose of the integration?
With the Humaans integration, everyone always knows who is in the office, who is working remotely, and who is away. This simplifies daily collaboration and makes resource planning much easier.

- Make absence status visible: Once an absence is approved in Humaans, it is automatically displayed in Flexopus. Employees see their own status directly on the home screen.
- Colleague availability at a glance: The Flexopus dashboard shows which colleagues are on-site, remote, or away—without manual updates.
- Better space utilization: When employees are away, existing bookings can be automatically released so others can use the space.
How easy is the integration?
Setting up the Humaans integration is straightforward and takes just a few steps. As an administrator, navigate to the integration settings in Flexopus, select Humaans, and grant the necessary API permissions in your Humaans account. Flexopus will then automatically sync absence data based on your employees' email addresses.

Questions and answers
What data is transferred from Humaans?
Flexopus only retrieves absence data: timeframe (start and end date), absence status, absence type, and an optional note. Personal data such as salary or contract details are not transferred.
Can absences be edited in Flexopus?
No. The synchronization is read-only. Changes to absences must always be made in Humaans. Flexopus then automatically adopts the updated data during the next synchronization run.
What happens if an absence is deleted or rejected in Humaans?
If an absence is withdrawn or rejected in Humaans, this status is updated in Flexopus during the next synchronization. The entry will be adjusted or removed accordingly.
How is data privacy ensured during the transfer?
The integration runs via a certified API provider. Flexopus can be configured to store only minimal absence information—without revealing the specific reason for the absence. All transfers are encrypted.
Does the HRIS module need to be purchased separately?
The HRIS integration module is not automatically included in the standard package, but it is available to all Flexopus customers upon request. Please contact us to enable the integration for your company.
