PeopleHR with Flexopus: Automatically synchronize absences
The PeopleHR integration connects Flexopus to your HR system and automatically synchronizes your employees' absence data. Once an absence is recorded and approved in PeopleHR, it is transferred to Flexopus – without any manual effort.
With the PeopleHR integration, relevant information such as absence type (e.g. Vacation, illness), period and status transmitted. Flexopus uses this data to accurately reflect employee availability in workplace management. Synchronization is one-way: data flows from PeopleHR to Flexopus. It is not possible to change absence data via Flexopus.
What is the purpose of integration?
The integration ensures that absence information from PeopleHR is directly visible in Flexopus – without duplicate data maintenance or manual transfer. This makes planning in the office noticeably easier.

How easy is the integration?
Setting up the PeopleHR integration is straightforward. As an administrator, navigate to the integration settings in Flexopus, select PeopleHR and grant the necessary API permissions in your PeopleHR system. The synchronization then runs automatically in the background.
Employees are assigned via their email address – additional configuration is usually not necessary.

What data is transferred from PeopleHR?
Flexopus synchronizes absence entries with information such as employee ID, period (start and end date), absence type, status and optional note. No personal salary or contract data will be transferred.
Can I control which absence types are displayed?
Yes. Flexopus can be configured to display only general absence information – for example, just "absent", without the specific reason such as vacation or illness. This way you retain control over which information is visible in the system.
What happens when an absence is changed or deleted in PeopleHR?
The synchronization regularly incorporates changes from PeopleHR. If an absence is adjusted or removed in PeopleHR, this is updated accordingly in Flexopus.
Is HRIS integration included in the standard subscription?
HRIS integration is an additional module and is not automatically included in the basic subscription. It is available to all customers upon request. Please contact us to find out more about availability and conditions.
Does the integration also work if employees have different email addresses in PeopleHR and Flexopus?
Absence data is assigned via the email address. For synchronization to work correctly, the email addresses in both systems should match. In case of discrepancies, we recommend standardizing the addresses beforehand.
