TriNet (Zenefits) with Flexopus: Automatically synchronize absences

What is TriNet (Zenefits) synchronization?

The integration between TriNet (Zenefits) and Flexopus connects your HR system with your workplace management solution. Flexopus reads the absence data maintained in TriNet (Zenefits) and automatically transfers it to the platform. This is a read-only synchronization: absence data is only imported from TriNet (Zenefits) and cannot be changed via Flexopus.

The following data will be synchronized:

• Employee ID and Approval ID
• Start and end date of absence
• Absence status (e.g. approved)
• Type of absence (e.g. Vacation, illness)
• Note regarding absence

If desired, Flexopus can be configured to transmit only a general "absent" status – without any indication of the specific reason for absence. This way you retain full control over the amount of data transferred.

The integration ensures that absence information from TriNet (Zenefits) is directly visible in Flexopus – without manual transfer or duplicate data maintenance.

Typical use cases:

• Employees can see their own absence status directly on the Flexopus start screen.

• Resources such as desks or meeting rooms can be automatically released for absent employees so that other colleagues can use them.

Setting up the TriNet (Zenefits) integration is straightforward and requires no technical expertise. As an administrator, navigate to the HRIS integrations section in Flexopus, select TriNet (Zenefits) and grant the necessary permissions in your HR system. Flexopus then automatically synchronizes absence data based on your employees' email addresses.
