What is ADP Workforce Now synchronization?
The HRIS integration connects ADP Workforce Now to Flexopus via a standardized API interface. Absence data from ADP Workforce Now is regularly transferred to Flexopus – this is a read-only synchronization, meaning that data flows from ADP Workforce Now to Flexopus, not vice versa.
The following information is synchronized: employee ID, approval ID, start and end date of absence, status, absence type (e.g. Vacation, illness, parental leave) as well as optional notes. If desired, the transmission can be configured so that only the status "absent" is transmitted, without the specific reason for absence.

What absence data is transferred exactly?
Flexopus synchronizes employee ID, approval ID, start and end date, status, absence type, and optional notes. You can specify in the settings whether the absence type (e.g. Vacation, illness) is transferred or only the general status "absent".
Can absences be changed or deleted via Flexopus?
No. The integration is purely read-only. Absence data can only be edited in ADP Workforce Now. Changes made there will be automatically incorporated into Flexopus during the next synchronization.
Is the integration compliant with data protection regulations?
Yes. The transfer takes place via a secure API connection. Additionally, you can configure which data is actually passed on to Flexopus. This allows sensitive information such as the specific reason for absence to be hidden upon request.
Is the HRIS module included in the Flexopus basic package?

What happens when an employee is deleted in ADP Workforce Now?
Synchronization is based on the employees' email addresses. If a user profile is removed from ADP Workforce Now, no further absence data for that person will be transferred. Existing entries in Flexopus will initially be retained and must be manually cleaned up if necessary.
