By integrating BambooHR with Flexopus, absences such as vacation, illness or other absences can be transmitted from the HR software to Flexopus.
What is BambooHR synchronization?
The BambooHR integration connects Flexopus to your HR system and automatically synchronizes your employees' absence data. Information such as vacation days, sick days, parental leave or other absences is transmitted directly from BambooHR to Flexopus.
Synchronization is read-only: Flexopus receives the absence data from BambooHR and makes it available in the system. Changes to absences will continue to be made exclusively in BambooHR. For matching purposes, employees are uniquely assigned based on their email address.

With the BambooHR integration, everyone involved always knows who is in the office, who is working remotely, and who is absent. This facilitates collaboration and reduces unnecessary follow-up questions.

Are sensitive reasons for absence, such as illness, displayed in Flexopus?
Not necessarily. Flexopus can be configured to synchronize only the general "absent" status, without specifying the concrete absence type (e.g., vacation). to transfer sick leave, vacation, parental leave). This way you retain full control over which information is visible in the system.
What happens when an absence is changed or deleted in BambooHR?
Changes made in BambooHR will be automatically transferred to Flexopus during the next synchronization. If an absence is deleted or modified in BambooHR, the status in Flexopus is updated accordingly.
Can absences be managed directly in Flexopus?
No. Synchronization is purely a read-only link. Absences are managed exclusively in BambooHR and automatically transmitted from there to Flexopus. This ensures that BambooHR remains the leading data source at all times.
Which specific absence data is synchronized?
Flexopus synchronizes, among other things, the start and end date of the absence, the absence type, the approval status, and optional notes. You can adjust which fields are actually visible in the settings.
